The things that I have been knitting

I finished a sweater.  Other than it came out smaller than I had intended, I'm quite pleased with it.  I still need to sew on buttons, but I'm counting it as done.

Here it is before weaving in the ends and washing it, and with truer colors.

Here it is after it's been washed, blocked, etc.

Look at the yoke.  I really like how it turned out.  I decided to leave the neck like it is (I was kind of ready to be done.)

Once the meat of the sweater was done, I started a sock.  I picked the yarn because it was already wound (Regia).  I like the pattern.  I like how the sock will be.  I really do not like the yarn.  It is like Lion Brand Homespun, but on a smaller scale.  It's "splitty" and the color transition had a hard line in a weird place.
I only keep knitting it because in the long run, it will be OK - not noticeable under jeans and it will keep my feet warm.

The other thing I like about it?  It is mostly done.  :-)
